Mon livre d'artiste "Bestiaire, étrange beauté" enfin imprimé
J'ai reçu dernièrement de l'atelier Helio'g mon livre d'artiste illustré, "Bestiaire, Étrange beauté", inspiré du bestiaire médiéval "Le Physiologos", imprimé en Héliogravure. Il est imprimé en 10 exemplaires; les illustrations sont réalisées par moi-même, et le texte est écrit par Emmanuel Stiller; les 13 planches illustrées s'insèrent chacune dans un feuillet sur lequel est imprimé le texte correspondant à l'animal, et l'ensemble est rassemblée sous forme de coffret. I received a few days ago from the Helio'g Workshop my artist and rare book illustrated by myself, inspired from the Medieval Bestiary "The Physiologos". I named it "Bestiary, strange beauty".
It's printed with the technic of "Heliogravure" or "Rotogravure", in only ten copies, by the Workshop "Helio'g', managed by Fanny Boucher, in Meudon, next to Paris. The text is written by a Professor at the Louvre School (Paris) in art history, Emmanuel Stiller. There are 13 artworks (10 in black and white imitating the etching on copper and 3 works in colors), one for each mythical animal. The whole thing is sold in a solid box.
